Bodywork in the Rhythm Stage

Bodywork Rhythm Stage

The program we guide our clients through is called the ‘Health Restoration Program’ (HRP).

The 3rd stage of this process is called RHYTHM.

The difference between the stages is based on:

1 – the progress the person/client has made and position they are in and…

2 – how we are utilising our modalities to continue the progress.

One of our modalities is BODYWORK. We use this to assess and enhance the Structural Integrity of the body throughout the process.

Bodywork Rhythm Stage

By the time we are in the Rhythm Stage of the HRP we’ve likely done most of the priority work and dealt with most of the primary structural drivers.

We’ll likely have identified , targeted and cleared quite a few asymmetries!

For example – areas like TMJ (Jaw), cranial, cervical/neck, spinal, pelvic, sacrum and coccyx.

At this point we’re usually observing much more effective alignment, symmetry, postures and movement patterns. Which manifests in typically experiencing less pain, discomfort and health challenges.

When in the Rhythm Stage there will be a sense of more control of the health goals, more ease in maintaining and sustaining the progress, robustness and a buffer zone, simplification and a greater efficiency and skill level than right at the beginning of the process/program.

This is hopefully, a natural development of all the dedication and commitment to the process from day 1.

Our Clients’ Health Challenges will have even been significantly improved at this point.

Yet, from a Functional Health Perspective there is still great value in continuing the process.

Still an important role for Bodywork and enhancing Structural Integrity further.

There will be a common sense and obvious need for ‘less’ intervention of course. We’ll be fine-tuning and tweaking at this point.

We will usually change tack a little and delve into assessing various dysfunctions and asymmetries and nuances of the human form and function that were not initially priority.

These could be things that have been evident the whole time. Weeks, months, years, decades even.

Yet trying to address them before more influential and important layers is often futile, leaving people on the merry-go-round or symptom/treatment.

So there will become an appropriate time to address them. And up to this point they have not been in pole position.

Once in the Rhythm Stage and in a much greater position of strength, you can begin to embrace these layers.

At this point in the HRP curriculum we will be taking the opportunity to coach, teach and educate around different functional rhythms (circadian, breathing, circulatory, hormonal, nutritional etc) and we can focus the Bodywork towards these principles too.
